Autumn rain will increase carpet cleaning needs in Dallas
As WJTV in Mississippi reported, carpet cleaning companies in that area have seen a spike in business due to recent heavy rains. Water extraction, flood damage and carpet treatments have increased with wet weather in the region.
Vince Vavrunek, owner of a carpet cleaning company in Mississippi, says he “expects to see a ten to 20-percent increase in business” because of recent rains.
In Texas, showers have been few and far between. But with autumn approaching, rain is likely to follow, and the dry conditions will be a double-edged sword in that now flooding becomes a risk. Not to mention just the mud, mess and soggy conditions with any rain will make carpet care a nightmare.
